last weekend I was invited up to Whistler, BC to discuss ecolux topics with some folks from Playground, a division of Intrawest resort development. on the table was the development of a current parking lot at the Base 2 section of the balckcomb access gondola. it is the most uphill, undeveloped, sought-after site within the approved development area of the WhistlerBlackcomb. ski in, ski out, adjacent brook, great views, the site has it all. Playground is investigating how to ply eco and sustainable practices into this high luxury property… more
